Kuala Lumpur: The Philippine Embassy last week hosted an afternoon of Filipino songs and dances for the Asean Ladies’ Circle (ALC) at the Intercontinental Hotel in Kuala Lumpur.
The colourful and merry-making event was led by Ma. Victoria “Vicky” Jose, Patron for ALC Philippines and spouse of Philippine Ambassador to Malaysia Charles Jose.
With the theme “Kulturang Sayawit ng Pilipino” or “Song and Dance Culture of the Philippines,” the event gathered a hundred participants from various ALC member countries.
