Sonos Malaysia has just unveiled its latest Sonos 27 alongside the new Beam Ultra and Ace Ultra, bringing smarter and more adaptable features to its connected audio ecosystem.
Sonos 27
The latest Sonos 27 introduces new control options, including AI integration through Sonos 27voice, a music and mood-focused assistant, and Sonos 27mcp, which connects users to AI assistants such as OpenAI’s ChatGPT. It also previews Sonos Custom Agents, allowing users to create personalized agents with their own models, personas, and voices.
Meanwhile, Sonos Fabric enables Sonos devices to detect and adapt to each other, including an Early Access headphone linking feature that lets users switch audio between Sonos speakers and the Sonos Ace Ultra. Plus, Sonos Positioning Technology uses high-frequency sound to detect speaker locations and allows compatible portable speakers to function as rear surrounds, while the redesigned Sonos 27 app brings a more intuitive interface for system control.
Beam Ultra
Beam Ultra is a mid-size soundbar that retains Beam’s iconic compact design while delivering 7.1.2 Dolby Atmos through nine custom drivers, including two up-firing drivers, for more immersive sound, warmer bass, and clearer dialogue. It features four levels of AI Speech Enhancement, Night Sound, and support for adding a Sub or compatible Sonos portable speakers as rear surrounds for an expandable home theatre setup.
Ace Ultra
Rounding up the lineup, Ace Ultra is a premium over-ear headphone featuring a Sonos-designed 40mm driver, Adaptive ANC with ten microphones, and up to 35 hours of battery life with ANC enabled. Powered by the new Headphone Engine 2, it can also connect directly to the Sonos system, allowing users to switch audio between their headphones and Sonos speakers with a single press without requiring a nearby phone.
Designed for the Sonos ecosystem, Beam Ultra and Ace Ultra support music, movies, and multi-room listening, with access to over 100 streaming services and the ability to group or pair speakers for home theatre setups. Notably, Beam Ultra features Trueplay, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and HDMI eARC, while Ace Ultra supports TrueCinema, USB-C, and 3.5mm connectivity.

Sonos 27’s new app navigation, Portable Surrounds, and Sonos 27mcp in Early Access will begin rolling out from 8 September, while the Beam Ultra and Ace Ultra are now available for pre-order via the Sonos Concept Store @ The Starhill and tcacoustic.asia at the following prices:
