Sonos has officially introduced its latest audio product lineup in Malaysia, featuring the Beam Ultra soundbar, Ace Ultra wireless headphones, and the new Sonos 27 system software alongside a revamped mobile app.
These new products expand the connected audio system of the brand with upgraded AI controls, immersive spatial audio, and personal listening capabilities.

Sonos Beam Ultra delivers 7.1.2 Dolby Atmos in a compact body
The Sonos Beam Ultra updates the compact soundbar design while delivering true 7.1.2 Dolby Atmos surround sound.
Inside its slim body are nine custom Class D drivers, including two dedicated upward firing drivers that project spatial audio overhead and a redesigned centre channel for clearer speech. Listeners can adjust speech clarity through four levels of AI Speech Enhancement in the mobile app, alongside a Night Sound mode for quiet evening viewing.
For a broader home theatre setup, the soundbar can pair with a Sonos Sub or utilise portable speakers like the Move 2 as temporary rear surrounds. Acoustic calibration is handled automatically via Trueplay tuning, which is compatible with both iOS and Android mobile devices.
On the hardware side, the soundbar supports WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, HDMI eARC, and Apple AirPlay 2. It is constructed using 24 percent recycled materials and consumes 25 percent less energy when idle compared to the previous Beam model. Black and White matte colour finishes are available.
Sonos Ace Ultra features 35 hour battery life and TV audio swap
The Sonos Ace Ultra is the latest flagship over ear wireless headphone from the brand, featuring custom 40mm drivers tuned with assistance from leading audio engineers.
It supports lossless audio playback using Qualcomm aptX Lossless alongside spatial audio and Dolby Atmos content.
A ten microphone array powers Adaptive Active Noise Cancellation, delivering twice the noise reduction of the original Ace model at key low frequencies, while Aware mode allows ambient sound to pass through with a single button press.
Built on Headphone Engine 2, the Ace Ultra includes direct WiFi hardware to connect seamlessly with existing home audio systems.
By pressing the Content Key on the right ear cup, users can swap TV audio directly from a Sonos soundbar to the headphones and back without needing a phone in range.
Dynamic head tracking and TrueCinema room tuning keep spatial audio positioned naturally.
The headphones offer up to 35 hours of battery life with active noise cancellation enabled, and a rapid three minute charge via USB C provides up to three hours of listening time.
Colour options include Black, Soft White, Agave, and Sand.
Sonos 27 audio operating system introduces ChatGPT control and redesigned app
Powering the hardware updates is Sonos 27, which functions as the underlying audio operating system and internal firmware running directly across Sonos hardware devices.
The operating system update enables new artificial intelligence capabilities through Sonos 27mcp, built on the open Model Context Protocol standard.
To control the system on smartphones, Sonos has also launched the rebuilt Sonos 27app for iOS and Android.
Serving as the visual remote control for the underlying Sonos 27 operating system, the mobile app introduces a redesigned interface featuring dedicated Home, System, and Search tabs alongside native swipe gestures.
iPhone users gain lock screen controls, Dynamic Island playback management, and a virtual volume dial operated by a two finger twist gesture on screen.
The app also allows users to save custom single tap presets for speaker groupings and favourite content, alongside voice command integration via Siri and Apple Shortcuts.
