West Ham United midfielder Tomas Soucek was delighted to see Gianluca Scamacca score his first goal for the summer.
Scamacca, signed from Sassuolo this summer, scored in the 3-1 win over Viborg in their Europa Conference League play-off first leg at London Stadium.
"I am happy that Gianluca scored on his first start," Soucek told the club's website.
"It is important for us and for him. He scored a great goal and showed very good quality.
"I said we needed to be clinical after [Nottingham] Forest and we scored three goals: that's a good answer. We need to finish our chance like today [in the future]."
