SEOUL, March 7 — Impeached South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol remains in custody for now, his lawyer said, despite a court ruling today that cancelled his arrest warrant, paving the way for his possible release.

“Even if the court decides to cancel the detention, the defendant is not immediately released,” said lawyer Seok Dong-hyeon. — AFP
