South Korean singing duo Hoondoo charm fans with their Sabah visit stories

Kota Kinabalu: South Korean singing duo Hoondoo recently charmed their fans with a series of social media posts documenting their visit to Sabah.

Paradise Hoon and Doo jinsoo, well-known for their captivating cover versions of popular songs, took to Instagram to share their experiences.

On July 25, Hoon @hooniverseon uploaded a striking photo of himself with Mount Kinabalu as the backdrop, captioning that it was his first time in Sabah.

“The Mount Kinabalu is very beautiful. We plan to have fun photoshooting for 13 days,” he said. All his captions were well expressed in Malay.

Read more The post, which was tagged with Pekan Nabalu as the location, and accompanied by hashtags like #gunungkinabalu, #pekannabalu and #hoondoo, quickly garnered attention from fans who were thrilled to see the stars exploring the region.

On the same date, the duo shared a traditional instrument cover version of the popular song "Original Sabahan", attracting 71,600 views on the social media platform.

Some netizens requested the duo to actually sing the song.

This post was followed by yet another on July 28, where he shared his experience at the Kinabalu Geopark.

“The nature of Sabah is impressive,” he captioned.

On August 2, Hoon’s Instagram page lit up with a photo of himself at a river, mentioning Pukak Kiulu.

“Please watch this on the TV later,” he said.

On August 9, Hoon bid farewell to Sabah with a post featuring a rainbow, tagging Tanjung Aru Railway Station as the location.

Hoondoo’s visit to Sabah has undoubtedly left a lasting impression, not only on their fans but also on the local community.

Hoondoo has previously captured the attention of Malaysians with their cover of the song ‘Romancinta’ by the group Mojo, solidifying their popularity among fans in the region.
