Southampton have accepted an offer from West Ham United for James Ward-Prowse.
BBC Sport says Saints have agreed a 30m fee to sell their captain.
Ward-Prowse started Southampton's winning Championship opener against Sheffield Wednesday last Friday night. However, his intention was always to leave after their relegation.
The midfielder is now set to discuss personal terms with the Irons.
West Ham are using part of the 105m raised from Declan Rice's sale to Arsenal to land Ward-Prowse.
