Southampton boss Nathan Jones has rubbished suggestions they will sell a key forward this winter.
The Saints were rumored to be considering selling Che Adams to relegation rivals Everton.
However, Jones has poured cold water over such claims, given his side need all the goals they can manage, and do not want to strengthen a rival.
Let's be honest, that's not going to happen," said Jones, bluntly, at a press conference.
His side are preparing for their Carabao Cup semi final second leg against Newcastle United away from home.
The Saints trail the Magpies 1-0 after the first leg at home last week.
