Southampton captain James Ward-Prowse says Kyle Walker-Peters deserves another England call.
Both midfielder Ward-Prowse and full-back Walker-Peters will hope to be announced in Gareth Southgate's Three Lions squad tomorrow, for Nations League clashes with Italy and Germany later this month.
Asked whether it would be a statement for Saints if both he and Walker-Peters could make the World Cup, Ward-Prowse told the Daily Echo: “It would.
“I see how hard he (Walker-Peters) works every day in training and the levels he performs to.
“For me, he deserves it and hopefully, come the announcement, he will be in."
