Southampton have launched a bid for Genk centre-forward Paul Onuachu.
In 19 games, he has scored 16 goals in the Belgian top flight.
Het Laatste Nieuws says Southampton have made a significant bid for the striker.
However, it is not yet known whether Genk are willing to let their top scorer leave in the middle of the season.
Onuachu's contract with Genk runs until the summer of 2024. In total, he has played 134 games for the Belgian club, scoring 85 goals.
