Southampton manager Ruben Selles gave another cryptic response regarding Armel Bella-Kotchap's exclusion from the squad.
The young defender was not a part of their squad for a 1-0 loss to Bournemouth at home.
The result on Thursday means that Selles has all but relegated the Saints from the Premier League.
Asked about Bella-Kotchap, he stated to reporters: Armel will be fit for Sunday."
Pressed on the matter, he added: He was not ready to perform today."
Bella-Kotchap has missed more than eight league games through various injuries this season.
