Southampton striker Will Merry has signed his first professional contract, keeping him at the club until June 2025.
The 17-year-old, who has been at the club since the age of eight, has signed professional terms during a productive personal season.
Merry is Saints' top goalscorer in the Under-18s Premier League and has made ten appearances playing up the age groups in the B team, scoring a brace at St Mary's Stadium in the Premier League Cup.
After penning his professional contract with the club, Merry reflected on the dream" deal: It feels great, I think it's been a long time coming. I'm really, really happy.
I've really enjoyed it [this season], working with all the staff and the players. I think it's a great group, there's lots of talent and I'm really striving to make the team, so I'm loving it."
