Spartak Moscow chief Oleg Malyshev admits a deal for Tottenham defender Davinson Sanchez is on.
It's been suggested Spartak have had an offer accepted by Spurs for the Colombia international.
The final decision will now be left with Sanchez.
Malyshev told RB Sport: "I would not like to comment until a final decision is made.
"We are considering options for strengthening the defence, we are interested in this player, but I won't say the details."
