THE Southern Police District (SPD) arrested 51 most wanted persons in a series of operations within its area of responsibility earlier this week.
SPD director BGen. Rodel Pastor said that the SPD apprehended a total of 51 wanted persons in law enforcement operations across its area of responsibility.
Of the total, 15 were listed as Top Ten Most Wanted Persons, eight as Most Wanted Persons, and 28 as Other Wanted Persons.
The operations, carried out by SPD police stations and operating units through intensified manhunt and warrant-serving efforts, resulted in the arrest of wanted individuals facing various criminal charges.
Pastor commended the operating personnel for their sustained efforts in tracing wanted persons and ensuring that warrants were properly served.
“We are sending a clear message: wanted persons cannot simply hide from the law. The SPD will continue to locate and arrest those with standing warrants, while ensuring that every operation is conducted within the bounds of law and due process,” he said.
The SPD remains committed to its intensified manhunt operations as part of its mandate to keep communities safe and uphold the rule of law across the MaTaPatPaMuLa area, representing Makati, Taguig, Pateros, Pasay, Muntinlupa, Las Piñas, and Parañaque.
