Sporty Spice Mel C is set to bring a workout-themed performance to the Strictly Come Dancing ballroom, complete with skipping ropes and a disco-ball exercise bike.
The 53-year-old singer, whose full name is Melanie Chisholm, will perform her track “Sweat” during Sunday night’s results show, joined by the BBC dance competition’s professional dancers.
Wearing a pink exercise top and blue shorts, Mel C will be lifted into the air as part of the high-energy routine, which also features the professionals dancing to Spacedust’s “Gym And Tonic” and Meghan Trainor’s “Shimmer”.
The show will also feature the UK television debut of Jamie Miller’s viral hit “Babydoll”, featuring Off Campus star Antonio Cipriano, who will perform the song’s popular dance alongside four of the professional dancers.
Mel C’s performance comes just weeks after she said she was asked to compete on the show “every year”.

Speaking to The Daily Star, the singer said: “Strictly is really the only one of those shows that I would consider and I have had a meeting with them — they ask me every year to do it.”
“The problem is if you do Strictly it’s so high profile and you'll find yourself in the sidebar of shame every day.”
However, Mel C did appear on Season 30 of the American version of Dancing with the Stars in 2021, finishing in 11th place after being knocked out in week five.

Meanwhile, Emma Bunton (Baby Spice) competed in the fourth series of Strictly in 2006, partnered with professional dancer Darren Bennett. She reached the semi-final, finishing third overall.
Week five of the current Strictly series will see the 12 remaining contestants return to the ballroom floor, with Dani Dyer dancing a salsa to Rosalía’s “Despechá” alongside professional Nikita Kuzmin.
Actress Bethany Antonia, who narrowly avoided elimination last week after landing in the bottom two, will perform the Argentine tango with professional Nancy Xu to “All The Things She Said” by Harrison.
Singer Delta Goodrem is also expected to return to the show after she had to miss week four because of injury.
She will perform a rumba with Kai Widdrington to Celine Dion’s “It’s All Coming Back To Me Now.”
Strictly Come Dancing returns on Saturday at 6.30pm and Sunday at 7.10pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
