Saudi Pro League recruitment chief Michael Emenalo has declared interest in Inter Miami star Leo Messi.
Despite his move to MLS, Emenalo has publicly made an invitation to Messi to join the SPL.
He told Sky Sports: "If two of the best players of recent decades (Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo) met again there would be an incredible amount of excitement.
"It would be fun for the fans, we can't wait to try it. If Messi wants to try a new championship, we certainly have a club ready to welcome him and let him express all his abilities.
"If he wants to come here, the possibility is there, we would work hard to find him a club."
