The Saudi Pro League are aiming to bid for Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski in January.
The Pole resisted offers from the SPL's biggest clubs over the summer to commit to Barca.
But TV3 says the battle isn't over and SPL clubs such as Al-Ittihad and Al-Hilal will try again for Lewandowski in the New Year.
There's hope Lewandowski will have rethought his position when the market reopens in January.
The veteran is now in his second season with Barca.
