Sporting CP coach Ruben Amorim has praised Arsenal's board over their support of manager Mikel Arteta.
Sporting host the first-leg of their round of 16 Europa League tie tonight.
Amorim feels Arsenal are reaping the rewards for standing by Arteta when the team was struggling. He said: "These are different times, different championships, the Arsenal coach is an example for the moment we are going through.
"It is not normal what we are going through, he was a great example for the way he withstood all the pressure, and it must be unbelievable there, and is reaping the results.
"It's good for fans to see that projects need time."
