Sporting CP coach Ruben Amorim has played down talk of being a contender for the Chelsea job.
While Graham Potter has since been appointed as Thomas Tuchel's replacement and has signed a long-term contract, Amorim could perhaps be seen as an option in the years to come.
Having led Sporting to their first League title in 19 years two seasons ago, the 37-year-old is held in high regard across coaching circles.
Speaking of the Chelsea links, Amorim told O Jogo: “The project I am in is the project I want.
“I have another year and a half of contract; Chelsea have presented a coach for the next five years.
“I am happy here and I am not thinking about another project."
