Wolfsburg defender Micky van de Ven was at Tottenham Hotspur stadium today.
Van de Ven saw Spurs defeat Shakhtar Donestk 5-1 today as he prepares to sign.
Afterwards, Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou said: "It's not done yet.
"We need some bolstering in that central defensive area. We need defenders who can work in an aggressive formation, defend well and cover behind them.
"We'll be looking to bring in a couple in that area in the coming days."
