Rennes are wrapping up a deal for Tottenham fullback Djed Spence.
The 22-year-old is joining on loan until the end of the season without a permanent option.
Spence was also sought by Lyon and several Premier League clubs, including Nottingham Forest.
At Rennes, he will find another player on loan from Tottenham, Wales defender Joe Rodon.
Spence arrived in Brittany last night to undergo medical tests before signing. The player was signed by Middlesbrough last summer for 15 million euros.
