Tottenham are pushing to close a deal for Nottingham Forest striker Brennan Johnson.
The Wales international wants to leave Forest this week.
Brentford failed with a 35m bid for Johnson, while he is also a target for Chelsea.
But the Telegraph says Spurs are now in talks with Forest for the attacker. Forest want 50m to sell.
However, Spurs hope to drive down the cash component by offering Davinson Sanchez and Bryan Gil in part exchange.
