The South Korean is set to return on Thursday to training with his club teammates.
Son's nation were knocked out of the Asia Cup at the semi-final stage by Jordan.
After his side lost 2-0 to Jordan, Son was complimentary about the opposition.
Now the 31-year-old can turn his focus to his club side, who are competing near the top of the Premier League.
Son will be hoping that he can help Spurs qualify for next season's Champions League.
