KOTA KINABALU: Parti Solidariti Tanah Airku (Star) President Datuk Seri Dr Jeffrey Kitingan (pic) said the party aims to double its representation in the upcoming Sabah election.
Citing Star’s strong performance in the previous polls, he noted that the party won six out of the eight contested seats, the highest success rate among coalition members.
Jeffrey said the party had formulated its seat contestation plans, though the final distribution remains subject to discussions with Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) partners.
On the postponed GRS supreme council meeting, which was expected to discuss seat allocations, he said no new date has been confirmed but he expects it to occur soon.
Star intends to defend all its incumbent seats while expanding its reach to new constituencies, with plans to introduce fresh candidates, including women, as part of its strategy.
