
RANAU: The Star Exco Wiramuda commended the Ministry of Community Development and People’s Well-being and other enforcement agencies for the operations to curb Palauh and street begging activities in the State.
Its leader, Kong Soon Choi, said that such actions need to be continued so that the issue can be fully settled to create a safe, clean and comfortable city or town atmosphere for the general public and tourists.
“Strong measures like that are very effective in continuing to deal with the issue of Palauh and street beggars who most of them do not have identification documents. I hope it will continue from time to time.
