RANAU: The Wiramuda movement of Parti Solidariti Tanah Airku (Star) welcomed the government’s plan to implement large-scale rice planting project in Sabah and Sarawak.
Its leader, Kong Soon Choi said, however, the plan announced by the Deputy Prime Minister should be implemented holistically and the target groups involved can cooperate.
“Of course we agree that this is a good idea because it is one of the measures taken in order to handle the rice issue that is currently becomes the talk of town.
“The effect of the current rise in the price of rice burdens all of the people in this country, but especially those coming from low income category.
