KOTA KINABALU: Former Star Youth chief and Nabawan division head Jordan Jude Ellron (pic) has resigned from all his positions in Star Sabah with immediate effect.

He said in a Facebook post on Wednesday that his decision came after no seats were allocated to Star Sabah Youth (Wiramuda) members in the upcoming state election.

Jordan expressed disappointment that despite earlier assurances he would contest the Tulid seat, the promise was not honoured even after he had purchased campaign materials and prepared his deposit.

He also said his deputy, Razidin Robert, faced a similar situation after being twice announced as the candidate for Bingkor but later dropped.

Citing these reasons, Jordan announced he would contest Tulid as an independent candidate, saying it was time for the people to decide.
