Kota Kinabalu: Muhammad Raiyan Fung Abdullah (pic) has announced his resignation as Star Youth deputy chief, the party's Sri Tanjong division secretary, and as a member of Parti Solidariti Tanah Airku (Star), with effect from July 26.
Raiyan said the decision was made after careful consideration for personal reasons and in the interest of his future.
He said he was grateful for the opportunities, trust and experience he gained throughout his involvement with the party.
Raiyan also expressed his appreciation to Star President Datuk Seri Jeffrey Kitingan, the party leadership at all levels and members for their cooperation and support during his tenure in both positions.
He also expressed hope that Star would continue to progress and succeed in championing the aspirations of the people and achieving its objectives.
