KUALA LUMPUR: Starbucks Malaysia dismissed a barista after a viral video showed her muttering “bodoh” at a Chinese tourist ordering at its KLIA Terminal 2 outlet.
The company apologised, saying the act violated its values, and pledged stronger training on cultural sensitivity.
The dismissal comes as Starbucks faces boycotts, reporting a RM292 million net loss for FY2025 and cutting outlets from 408 to 320 nationwide.
