Stars join charity run for healthcare causes

More than 4,000 runners joined the Five Star Half Marathon 2025 at the CDC Parade Grounds in Clark, Pampanga, in an event aimed at raising funds for local healthcare services.

The charity run was organized by Charoen Pokphand Foods Philippines Corporation (CPF) through its Five Star Chicken brand and marked the fifth edition of the company’s annual half marathon.

The event raised a total of ₱8 million, which will be donated to two rural health units. The rural health unit in Samal, Bataan and the rural health unit in Gerona, Tarlac will each receive ₱4 million.

The charity run was led by Ivana Alawi and Nattakorn Sujipittham, together with members of the Content Creators of the Philippines headed by chemist Pinky Tobiano.

Also joining the event were actor Jameson Blake and several social media personalities, including Patricia “Perlas” Lourel Funtanares, Jeff Cabrera, Keisha Serna and Daniel Sulud.
