State Government pledges aid for Kampung Cempaka fire victims

KOTA KINABALU: The State Government, government agencies, and the City Hall (DBKK) will hold further discussions to assist the fire victims in Kampung Cempaka, Likas, on Saturday (March 1).

Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor emphasised that the welfare of the fire victims remains a priority, especially during the fasting month.

AdvertisementFinancial aid of RM1,300 per household head has been provided, with RM1,000 from the State Government and RM300 from the Yayasan Sabah Group.

Additional assistance, including gas stoves from the Sabah Welfare Foundation and food baskets from the Yayasan Sabah Group, has also been distributed to the victims.
