KOTA BELUD: Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor has reiterated that the State Government remains steadfast in its efforts to claim Sabah's rights, including returning 40 per cent of the revenue collected by the Federal Government.
He stressed that opposition claims accusing his government of being silent on this issue are false and are intended to undermine the State Government.
On the contrary, he said the State Government consistently advocates for Sabah's rights, whether in the Malaysia Agreement 1963 (MA63) or Cabinet meetings.
"If we listen to stories from certain quarters, many aim to belittle the government's role in claiming our rights. They do not know I am also at the MA63 meetings chaired by the Prime Minister.

"We speak up in meetings, and it is recorded, not only during the time of the 10th Prime Minister (Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim) but also during the tenures of Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin and Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri as Prime Ministers.
"These are the demands I have submitted for Sabah's rights, and you can check the minutes of the MA63 meetings," he said during a native land title and Rumah Mesra Sabah Maju Jaya (SMJ) housing project presentation ceremony for the Pintasan constituency at Kampung Pantai Emas field here on Sunday.
