TAWAU: The State Government’s initiative to take over the management of Sabah Electricity Sdn Bhd (SESB) from Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) is expected to further improve the quality of Sabah’s electricity service.
Industrial Development and Entrepreneurship Assistant Minister Datuk Andi Muhammad Suryady Bandy said being under TNB in the past 25 years warrants a need for change and improvement.
Andi said Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor said he met with Natural Resources, Environment and Climate Change Minister Nik Ahmad to discuss on the takeover process.
