SHAH ALAM, Feb 26 — The Selangor administration is considering providing an additional Special Financial Assistance (BKK) for the upcoming Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration, on top of the two-month bonus announced last year.

Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari said the proposed incentive, dubbed BKK2, will be discussed at the State Secretariat meeting soon.

“The state will fulfil its promise of a one-month bonus or BKK on March 25.

“However, there is also good news as we are also considering another special incentive, or BKK2, for all state civil servants and assemblymen,” he said today before the State Legislative Assembly adjourned its first session for the year.

During the tabling of the 2025 Selangor State Budget on November 15 last year, Amirudin said that civil servants would receive two months’ salary under BKK 2024, to be disbursed in stages.

The first payout is a token of appreciation for civil servants’ commitment to the state government.
