SHAH ALAM, June 29 — The Selangor State Legislative Assembly (DNS) session, which commences on July 7, will focus on several key issues, including the gas pipeline explosion involving Petronas in Putra Heights, Subang, on April 1.
Assembly Speaker Lau Weng San said other matters expected to be raised by state assemblymen include redeveloping the Shah Alam Sports Complex (KSSA), flood incidents, and investment initiatives with significant economic impact.
“Among the main areas of focus will be the integrated circuit (IC) design park, the semiconductor industry, and matters relating to public welfare, which have also drawn the attention of several state assemblymen,” he told Media Selangor.

Lau also reminded all state assemblymen to be present and actively participate in debates, including posing supplementary questions on highlighted issues.
The sitting will run for two weeks at the Annexe Building in Shah Alam, with the first session taking place from July 7 to July 11, followed by the second week from July 14 to July 18.
The public can follow the live broadcast of the proceedings at selangortv.my and all official Media Selangor social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, X (formerly Twitter), TikTok, Telegram, and the MYTV channel.
