Recently, an English teacher named @misssylvia posted a video on her TikTok account capturing her final interaction with her Standard 6 as they bid her goodbye during their last day of primary school, where it has since been viewed more than 130,000 times.
Students cry while hugging English teacher
In the 1-minute clip, several female students were seen crying and hugging Miss Sylvia tightly throughout the duration, expressing their affection for their favorite teacher.
Miss Sylvia, who recorded the video and shared it on her social media, added a heartfelt in-text caption which read, “I love you with all the four chambers of my heart.”
This poignant statement highlights the deep bond and affection she feels for her students.
The kind teacher has also brought her students out for a day, where she spent some time with them before they graduated from primary school by treating them to a meal and playing arcade games.
Speaking to WeirdKaya, Miss Sylvia said she has been an English teacher for over 3 years.
They were graduating from primary school and I have been their English teacher since 2021 before they graduated on February of this year.
Netizens were touched to see Miss Sylvia’s impact on her students as it was rare to see students having so much love for their teachers and showing much emotion in going their separate ways.
