STENIEL Manufacturing Corp. said Tuesday that its subsidiary, Steniel Cavite Packaging Corp. (SCPC), had been assessed P146,000 in fines by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) over reportorial deficiencies.
In a disclosure, Steniel said SCPC received the assessment on March 2, 2026, covering alleged deficient or late filings from 2019 to 2022.
The amount cited by the regulator amounted to P146,000, representing penalties tied to compliance lapses during the four-year period.
The company said SCPC was currently working with the SEC to clarify the details and basis of the assessment.
Steniel added that the subsidiary could contest the fines if deemed appropriate after discussions with the regulator.
Steniel Manufacturing’s share price was unchanged at P2.00 apiece on Tuesday.
