- The fall occurred after he delivered a talk on artificial intelligence during the CogX festival, resulting in multiple broken bones including his leg, hip, pelvis and ribs.
- The legal claim alleges negligence and/or breach of statutory duty by the defendants for failing to ensure the stage and backstage area were safe, adequately lit, and properly protected.
- The defendants have not yet submitted a defence to the claim, and no hearing has been scheduled.
