Young Stoke City striker Nathan Lowe is interesting Newcastle United.
The Daily Mail says Newcastle are keeping a close eye on Lowe.
The club's new youth recruitment chief Paul Midgley is leading the search for emerging talent and one name being tracked is Stoke Under-18s striker Lowe.
Lowe is yet to make his senior debut for the Potters, signing a three-year deal with Alex Neil's side in September after turning 17.
The young forward has impressed for Stoke's U18's side and also featured for the Under-21s in Premier League 2 Division 2.
