Manchester City has received a huge boost with John Stones returning to training this week.

The English centre half has been absent since the end of December due to a collision with Beto in a game against Everton.

However, The Mail states that City will soon be able to call on Stones in their starting lineup.

One star who is not close to returning is striker Erling Haaland, who is still not 100 percent fit.

Haaland, who recently claimed he was bored due to not being able to play, has not featured for six weeks.

City are also without key defender Manuel Akanji, which makes Stones' return even more valuable.
