Kota Kinabalu: United Progressive Kinabalu Organisation (Upko) Emeritus President Datuk Seri Wilfred Madius Tangau called for decisive measures to combat what he called “domestic terrorism” following yet another politically motivated arson attack over the Allah socks issue.

He said Inspector-General Police (IGP) Tan Sri Razarudin Husain and Deputy IGP Dato’ Sri Ayob Khan Mydin Pitchay, who previously headed the Police’s counter-terrorism branch, should by right conduct a thorough investigation under Section 130B of the Penal Code, which deals with terrorism-related offences.

Tangau said this in a statement, Saturday, in the wake of three incidents involving Molotov cocktail attacks. The most recent occurred at a KK Super Mart outlet in Sungai Isap in Kuantan Pahang on March 30. Prior to this, another KK Super Mart in Bidor, Perak, was targeted with a Molotov cocktail on March 26.
