A Scottish high street has been left under floodwater on Sunday, October 25, after Storm Boelo swept across the west of Scotland.
Main Street in Largs, North Ayrshire was transformed into a shallow river with businesses damaged by water flowing through the street.
“We can’t even get into our shops right now, God knows how much stock we have lost,” said Toni Dawson, owner of ice cream shop Geraldo’s.
The storm brought heavy rain and severe gales to Scotland with gusts reaching 85mph in some areas.
Roads, rail services and ferry crossings have all been affected, with fallen trees and floodwater causing disruption across the country.
