TO sustain strong and stable financial position of the State, the State Government has formulated strategies through analysing overall economic indicators and forecasts as a measure to face economic slowdown in 2024, said Finance Minister Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun.
Therefore, he said, the 2024 State Budget was prepared based on projected revenue to sustain a surplus budget to increase the State’s reserves.
“For the purpose of enhancing the State’s operation and administration, an amount of RM5.701 billion is proposed for 2024 supply budget,” he said when tabling the 2024 State Budget at the State Legislative Assembly, here, Friday.
