Two former Strictly Come Dancing stars will step aboard a Saga Cruises ship to launch a new dance show for the cruise line.
Professional dancers Michelle Tsiakkas and Vincent Simone will wow guests with the first public performance of Eras, described as a “dazzling dance spectacular.”
They will be joined by dance partners from Dancing With The Stars, Victoria Martin and Simone Arena.
The show will celebrate the highlights and histories of Latin and ballroom dance in all their forms throughout the ages.
It will feature exclusive insights into Vincent and Michelle’s time on Strictly Come Dancing and their glittering dance careers.
The dancing duo will perform on the 14-night Best of the Canaries cruise departing on 6 December aboard Spirit of Discovery.
Passengers can enjoy salsa classes with a difference during the sailing, with the opportunity to learn moves and pick up a few cheeky salsa tricks with Strictly’s Michelle.
Vincent will also offer a festive foxtrot workshop for guests of all abilities.
The Best of the Canaries cruise takes in the highlights of the Canary Islands, from Gran Canaria to Tenerife, with stops in Madeira and Lisbon.
Other star guests and speakers on board include chartered horticulturalist and TV presenter David Domoney, who will share the best ways to water gardens and how the natural world can enrich health, happiness, and everyday life.
Passengers can also attend talks by astronomer Tom Boles and tastings with chocolatier Mark Tilling. Prices start from £2,999 per person.
Other dance-themed sailing from Saga Cruises
The cruise line announced last week that ice skating icons Dame Jayne Torvill and Sir Christopher Dean have been added to the lineup for Saga Cruises’ “Canary Island Wonders” sailing aboard Spirit of Adventure in December 2026.
They will share stories from their career spanning multiple British, European, and World Championship titles and reveal behind-the-scenes details from their time as coaches and judges on ITV's Dancing on Ice.
The pair previously appeared on board Saga's Spirit of Discovery during a “Northern Lights and Festive Delights” cruise in late 2025.
Strictly judge Shirley Ballas hosted a dance-themed sailing aboard MSC Cruises’ MSC Virtuosa cruise ship in May.
Meanwhile, former Strictly judge Dame Arlene Phillips and professional dancer Ian Waite, will headline Fred Olsen’s Celebration of Dance at Sea sailing aboard Borealis in December.
There will be question-and-answer sessions, meet-and-greet opportunities and masterclasses on the five-night festive sailing, which departs from Southampton on 13 December 2026. Prices start from £1,099 per person.
