
SANDAKAN: Member of Parliament, Vivian Wong, hopes students sitting for future examinations such as SPM will continue to strive for best results.
She said this when presenting awards to six students from SMK Sandakan who obtained 8As and above, SMK St. Mary with three students obtaining 8As and above, SMJK Tiong Hua with six students obtaining 8As and above, SMK Muhibbah with three students obtaining 8As and above, SMK St. Cecilia Convent with four students obtaining 8As and above, SM Yu Yuan with 16 students obtaining 8As and above and SMK Sung Siew with 36 students obtaining 8As and above.
She said the awards to the 69 students was an appreciation and encouragement for them to continue to succeed in their studies at the highest level.
“I am very proud of you all. We share the joy of this achievement with parents, teachers and the District Education Office,” she said.
