KUNAK: Students in Religious Secondary School (SMAN) throughout Sabah have shown an improvement in their mastery of the English, Arab and Malay languages.
This was noted by the Director of the Sabah Islamic Affairs Department (Jheains), Datuk Saifulzaman Sangul, after officiating a SMA “Ihtifal Ilmi” programme at the community hall, here, recently.
“This is what we want to see, that students of SMA excel in not just English but also the Arabic language so that they can play a useful role not just in Malaysia but also in the region,” he said.
