Methodology used for the rankings

TasteAtlas ranks foods based on audience ratings, using a system that filters out bots, nationalist bias, or overly patriotic ratings. It gives extra weight to ratings from users identified as knowledgeable by the platform.

For the “Top 100 Street Foods in the World” list, a total of 74,034 ratings were gathered, with 51,255 verified as authentic by the system.

These rankings aren’t meant to be seen as the ultimate verdict on food but rather to highlight great local dishes, spark curiosity, and encourage pride in traditional cuisines.
