Juventus have axed Leonardo Bonucci as club captain and told him to find a new club.
That's according to Sky Italia, which is reporting Bonucci was blindsided by the decision.
Bianconeri directors Cristiano Giuntoli and Giovanni Manna met with Bonucci while he was on holiday in Tuscany to inform him of their decision.
Bonucci is to report back for preseason training on Monday, but knows he's no longer wanted by the Bianconeri.
The veteran will also not be part of Juve's USA tour squad which leaves next week.
