Uruguay veteran Luis Suarez has hailed the progress of teammate Darwin Nunez.
Liverpool striker Nunez struck twice in yesterday 3-0 World Cup qualifying win against Bolivia.
Asked about bench role, Suarez said: "I have one of the world's best 'nines' in front of me.
"We must support him and above all enjoy him."
The veteran, who is expected to leave Gremio for Inter Miami this winter, has accepted that he is no longer the star of the national team.
"Today I have a different role in the national team than before. I am happy to be able to help the group in any way imaginable."
