Do you miss the feeling of traffic-free roads during the Covid-19 lockdowns?
Well, the Subang Jaya City Council (MBSJ) is bringing back their vehicle-free initiative, Selamat Pagi Subang Jaya, with fun-filled activities for everyone to enjoy!
Taking to their official Facebook page, they shared the event while inviting the public to take part.
MBSJ wrote, “The Vehicle-Free Day, #selamatpagisubangjaya, is back again to meet the resident of the SJ City Council on August 7, 2022 (Sunday), which involves Jalan Persiaran Kemajuan (infront of the Subang Parade and Aeon Big shopping centres) from 7am to 11am.”
Do note that the above mentioned road will be closed for vehicles during that time.
They also boasted a variety of activities for people of all ages to participate in, including:
- Cycling activities
- Running, jogging and walking activities
- Kid street soccer
- Complimentary health screenings
- A breakfast fair
- Street performances
- An eating competition
This initiative will also be held every first Sunday of the week, so don’t forget to leave your vehicles at home.
“Many interesting activities await you. Don’t forget our appointment this Sunday! See you there!”
We certainly can’t wait to take part in the eating competition, because what else would we be doing on a Sunday morning.
